This is a special microphone and speaker system for fitting inside an open face helmet for use with a handheld.
These can be used with many popular handhelds - CB, PMR446, Amateur, and PMR. The connection is a standard 2-pin 2.5mm + 3.5mm connection, which is used on many handhelds.
The weatherproof PTT is fitted to the handle bar with a velcro strap.
The microphone and the speakers also fix in the helmet using velcro. It really could not be easier to fit. The microphone is on a boom type fitting.
There are weatherproof quick disconnects between both the PTT and radio and between the helmet and radio. This allows you to easily connect and reconnect the system as needed.
