Do you remember the 007 microphone from the 80's?  This new microphone from Superstar is very similar to it but from what I remember this one feels better made!

A very unusual mic to look at, but when you get it in your hand it is surprising how comfortable it feels.

You hold the mic like a "pistol", and the PTT is the "trigger" that you press with your forefinger. The mic element is in the top of the mic, so just squeeze the trigger and talk into the top.

The output level is easily adjusted using the small control on the handle underneath the PTT.

Performance is very good, with very sharp and loud audio reported.

The casing is metal rather than plastic, and does give it a better quality feel.

Available in GOLD only (black & chrome are now sold out & discontinued).

Supplied complete with a battery and a plug fitted to suit your radio.

A restyled version of the NM-452 echo/power mic, with new more rounded casing.

The amount of echo can be varied using the slider on the front of the mic, from too much when set to maximum to none when on minimum (at which point it just acts as a power mic).

Twin presets in the rear allow you to adjust the output level (volume) and the echo delay. Being able to adjust the delay enables you to get the optimum sound from the echo.

The audio quality of these mics can not be surpassed, we have never known anyone be unhappy with one of these.

Made in the USA, the superior quality extends all the way from the high quality mic element to the extra long and flexible mic lead.

There are slider controls on each side of the microphone - one adjusts the volume, the other adjusts the tone. This enables you to match the microphone to any radio and any voice.

These mics seem to work well on any radio - I can not think of anyone who has had any complaint about them.

Unfortunately they are expensive, and they are also getting more difficult to get hold of - but you do get quality for your money.

So go on, treat yourself!
