Compact and neat, these are not high performing antenna but if you are looking for something less obvious on you car they may be for you.

The 2ft version is now only available in a "cellular style". This has a "pigtail" open coil in the centre of the 24" whip (similar to early phone aerials).

A Solarcon version of the famous Valor Half Breed mobile antenna.

Heavy construction with a good quality 50" stainless steel whip, with a maximum power of 500 Watts.

A wound fibreglass antenna somewhat similar to a FireStik, but instead of being continuously wound it has three "coils" at the top of the antenna.

Approximately 4ft long, the swr is adjustable by a tuning tip.

High power and high performance - but not flexible!

A special end-fed 1/2 wave fibreglass antenna designed especially for use on vehicles with no groundplane - eg. fibreglass trucks, boats etc.

Although nothing will work as well as a normal antenna on a good size groundplane, this is the best we have found so far. The only disadvantage is that it is a solid fibreglass antenna, so it will not give if you are likely to bash it.

The antenna fits in a standard 3/8 mount BUT the coax is not connected through the mount but to a SO239 socket on the antenna itself. The swr is also adjusted by moving this fitting.
